Wind seemed to get stronger through the afternoon and switched a bit more west. Went for my first after-work session of the year!! Couldnt resist heading to Hove for a look. Downed tools at just after 5pm and hitting the shorebreak by 5:30pm. 4m ezzy and WaveOne small still wet from earlier. Quite large swell out there, wave faces shoulder to head high and they seemed waaaay more than that on the big sets and at the peaking bit. Some lovely turns on wide smooth wave faces, loads of power in the sail and a lot of distance down the line.
